The Sufficiency Economy Market is held on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month. At weekend markets, the Museum's network of agricultural farmers gathers to share their knowledge of self-sufficiency and agricultural innovation, as well as to sell their organic produce and wares. A sufficiency economy is built on the principles of cost reduction, income growth, and long-term happiness promotion. Organically grown food purchased at the market is safe to consume.

Producing rice domestically enables Thailand to retain its independence.
